This interesting village lies close to Liptovsky Mikulas and the Liptovska Mara water-reservoir. The most attractive point is set right in a heart of the village- the biggest wooden church in the Middle Europe. With its long a checkered past the church was shifted from flooded village Paludza about 1975 during the time when the water-reservoir had been built in that valley. Inside the church there are an unique Baroque altar and lustres from venetian crystal. If you decide to visit this church don´t be surprised with its size- it has a capacity for unbeliavably 6000 persons!
